Foot Room aims to make football explanations useful, understandable and open to correction. Its guides distinguish factual information from interpretation and hypothetical examples.
Evidence and sources
Real match records, external statistics, quotations and current competition rules should identify a relevant source. Statistical comparisons should state the provider, period and competition. An observational guide should explain what a reader can look for, without inventing observations of an actual match.
Examples and images
Invented match situations and player totals are teaching examples, not reported events. Article photographs illustrate the sport and carry source credits. They must not be used to imply endorsement by the people, clubs or venues shown.
AI assistance
The initial collection was prepared with AI assistance. The publisher remains responsible for reviewing the material, checking factual claims and deciding whether each guide adds practical value. AI assistance does not create first-hand experience or specialist qualifications.
Corrections
Use the site contact form to report an error, including its URL and supporting information. Material corrections that change an article’s meaning should be explained on that article. Minor spelling or formatting edits may be made without a separate notice. An update date should reflect a meaningful review.
Commercial content
Advertisements must remain distinguishable from articles and navigation. Any sponsored content or affiliate relationship should be disclosed where relevant. The presence of an advertisement does not establish the accuracy of its claims or imply an editorial recommendation.
How to use the evidence in a guide
A named real-world example is attributed to its source. A worked calculation uses explicitly stated inputs so the reader can reproduce it. A viewing worksheet proposes a method; its categories are not presented as official statistics unless a provider definition is cited. A link to a source does not imply that the source endorses Foot Room.
What changed in this collection
On 10 October 2026, the initial 15 guides were expanded with topic-specific worked exercises, observation tables, source notes and links to related guides. The revision does not claim that the publisher attended or independently reviewed the matches discussed by external sources.
Report a correction
Use the contact page. Include the article URL, the relevant sentence, the proposed correction and a supporting reference. Do not submit passwords or unnecessary personal information. A correction should address the evidence, including definitions or arithmetic, rather than merely replace one unsupported opinion with another.
